I think I'm quite lucky to have such experiences in learning podcasting in this course as I never heard this kind of approach in teaching English before. It is really an interesting approach. Even though, there are quite lots of works to do but it seemed that this approach could tackle and arouse pupils interest in learning English or what ever subjects they learn. I think I have upgrade and update myself as a teacher in this millennium era. Even though, I am a teacher who was born in the 60's, meaning I'm old, I could not give excuses for not following the new approach. I have to learn and use the Information and Technology (IT) in teaching English Language in order to enhance the pupils knowledge and develop their experiences in the world wide. Everyone knows that what ever we do at the early stage, we'll find difficulties, so am I but I took the difficulties as a challenge for me.
As far as I concerned, the podcasting can enhance pupils listening skills. Besides playing the dialogues/conversations, poems, nursery rhymes, songs, instructions, role play and etc. , teachers can also conclude the sound of animals, transports, environmental, and many more lively and authentically. In other words, teachers help the pupils to learn effectively and retain the knowledge and information.
